Only repentance and faith in Jesus Christ can save South Africa 

On the 25th of May 2019, you were duly sworn in as President of the Republic of South Africa at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria. You so proudly committed to oaths of the office of the president which you are bound to. The very same year in state of the nation address on the 20th of June you claimed that…

‘ In 25 years of democracy we have made remarkable progress in building a new nation in which all South Africans have equal rights and broadening opportunities. Over 25 years, we have done much to meet people’s basic needs, to reduce poverty and to transform a devastated economy that was built to serve the interests of the few. Working together, we have laid a firm foundation on which we can build a country in which all may know peace and comfort and contentment. ‘ 

I'm not an expert on economics, I'm not an expert on how to run a country, but I can promise you that the everyday realities of every single citizen of our country are far from what you so boldly claim above. We experience harsh realities. Please don't mistake this for another political letter or complaint from an angry citizen. 30 years of democracy, and our country is plunging more and more into corruption, poverty and despair. As always we do a poll and point the finger at the system or others, believing that we as people can save ourselves. And that's the reason I'm writing this letter. 

I strongly want to advocate that the problem isn't the system or skin, nor status or circumstance, it's sin.We all think we are good people. But can we put that to the test? Have you ever stolen? Have you ever lied? Have you ever used the name of the Lord in vain? Have you ever looked with lust? I'm not judging you. But by your own admission you are a liar, thief, adulterer , blasphemer like the rest of us. If God were to judge you by the 10 commandments we only looked at a few, will you be guilty or innocent?. Heaven or hell? If you said hell does that concern you?. Well God did something so sinners wouldn't have to go to hell. He gave His Son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice. God paid your fine and if you and every citizen believe and put your faith in Jesus Christ you will be saved. Find a bible read it, ( John 3, read the books of Matthew, Luke and Mark) read the Bible and let all repent. Repent and put your faith in Jesus and get baptized, trust in Jesus rather than your good works. Or good people nor good political party.Trust in Jesus. Repentance in Jesus is the only thing that can save our country. For all the pain, and suffering the answers are in God's word and it's all up to you and me. You have to remember that it all begins with repentance. Please allow us to share the gospel with everyone, every home, every church. South Africa,bthe world and all nations will always be in my prayers and my heart. Come to Jesus, He saves.
